What does synergy in business mean to me?

This post from Digital Handshake is a great summary of how I think about synergy.  Business and life for that matter can be a set of different puzzle pieces that can be assembled into a much larger picture.  A good friend once told me that a lot of people doing a little adds up to a lot.
